Goodbye Sweet Grenada

After 6 months in Grenada, it's time to say goodbye. I think when your courtesy flag starts to fall apart it's just it's way of telling you you've been here a long time!

Good sailing weather is sporadic at this time of year. We've had lots of wind and big seas for the past week. The winds have moderated and the seas are coming down but just about the time it starts looking good, wind and seas pick up again. We plan on heading to Carriacou in the morning and then will continue to move north as weather permits. So stay tuned as Merengue and crew visit new places and some old favorites. And thank you Grenada. We're going to miss you!

  1. Jim,

I am proud of you, for awhile there I thought Merengue would be a permittant fixture in Grenada. Renee is itching to get rid of her "loser" hat. Safe sailing and hope to see you sometime I'll keep the Carib cold for your arrival Jacumba
